Three-Generation Family Photoshoot from Club Med Miches at Playa Esmeralda

Some vacations are remembered for the places you visit, while others are remembered for the people you share them with. For Brigitte and her family, their stay at Club Med Miches was the perfect opportunity to bring three generations together and create memories they will treasure for years to come.
Just a few minutes from the resort, Playa Esmeralda provided the perfect setting for this family photoshoot. Crystal-clear water, golden sand and a peaceful Caribbean atmosphere created a beautiful backdrop for grandparents, children and grandchildren to enjoy a special afternoon together in the Dominican Republic.
As with many large family sessions, we spent time creating portraits of the entire family, grandparents with their grandchildren, individual family groups and photographs of each couple. While the adults enjoyed their time in front of the camera, the youngest member of the family received special attention.
With the afternoon sun still shining brightly, Pascal suggested using an umbrella to create shade for the baby whenever she was not part of the photographs. Combined with the gentle Caribbean breeze and the soothing sound of the waves, the little one became so relaxed that she slowly drifted off to sleep between photos.
The session also included a fun family tradition. Out of the eight family members, only the mother and her two children shared striking green eyes. Everyone else jokingly referred to themselves as "the Brownies" because of their brown eyes. Naturally, they requested a special photograph to celebrate this unique family detail and the laughter it inspired throughout the session.

Although Punta Cana is famous for its beaches, more and more travelers are discovering the natural beauty of Miches and Playa Esmeralda. This area offers a quieter and more authentic Caribbean experience, with long stretches of sand, swaying palm trees and turquoise waters.

During this session we captured portraits of the entire group, grandparents with grandchildren, siblings together, individual families and romantic couple portraits. This approach ensures that everyone leaves with beautiful memories beyond the traditional group photograph.

The baby resting peacefully under the umbrella, the jokes about the green eyes and the "Brownies," the walks along Playa Esmeralda and the laughter shared between generations made this session truly unforgettable.
Playa Esmeralda provided the perfect backdrop, and Brigitte's family left with much more than photographs. They left with memories they will be able to relive for many years to come.
