16 Years Photographing Stories in Punta Cana
I’m Magda, photographer and founder of PuntaCanaFotoRD. I’ve been living and photographing in Punta Cana for 16 years, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned during all this time, it’s that a great photoshoot begins long before the first photo is taken: it begins when you feel comfortable in front of the camera.
You don’t need to know how to pose or have any experience in front of the camera. During the session, I’ll guide you with simple directions while looking for natural movement, expressions and moments, so you can enjoy the experience without constantly wondering what to do with your hands or where to look.
I’ve photographed couples, families with young children, expecting mothers, quinceañeras, weddings, proposals and more personal sessions such as boudoir. Everyone arrives with their own story and a different level of confidence in front of the camera, so I don’t approach every session in the same way.
Some women, mothers and families have told us that they feel especially comfortable knowing that a woman will be behind the camera. That trust matters to me: I want you to feel relaxed, supported and free to be yourself throughout the session.

Behind PuntaCanaFotoRD, You’ll Find Magda & Pascal
PuntaCanaFotoRD is also our story. Magda came to the Dominican Republic from Uruguay and Pascal from France. We met here, built our life together in Punta Cana, and over time brought together photography, music and our own way of welcoming and taking care of the people who come to enjoy this beautiful place.
Magda is the photographer behind the camera. Pascal is part of the organization and the overall experience, helping with communication, logistics and transportation when needed. For special moments, he can also add live saxophone music to the experience.
So when you message us, you’re not contacting an anonymous company. You’re talking directly to us. We’ll help you organize the details and make everything feel simple, from your first message to the day of your photoshoot.
