You don’t need to know what to do in front of the camera. Magda guides you throughout the session with simple directions — where to look, what to do with your hands, when to walk or move, and the little adjustments that make a pose feel natural.
You might feel a little shy at first, but the session is designed to help you relax, build confidence, and genuinely enjoy the experience.
We’re not trying to make you pose like a model. We want you to look great while still feeling like yourself.
Your session, your style
Not every solo photoshoot has to look the same. It can be natural and relaxed while walking along the beach, a more elegant portrait, or a session with more energy and personality.
Magda adapts the session to you: your personality, the outfit you choose, and the kind of photos you would like to take home from the Dominican Republic.
You can come with a clear idea or simply let yourself be guided. During the session, we’ll try different movements, compositions and locations to create a varied gallery without turning the experience into an endless series of poses.
The idea isn’t to change who you are in front of the camera, but to photograph you in a way that feels most like you.
The location is part of the experience too
You don’t need to know the beaches of Punta Cana or figure out on your own where to go for your photos.
Depending on where you’re staying, the style you’re looking for and the conditions at the time, we can help you choose a location that works well for your session. Magda knows different beaches and locations around Punta Cana and other parts of the Dominican Republic, and knows how to make the most of the light and surroundings to create variety without making the experience complicated.
Macao Beach, Uvero Alto, Bávaro, Bayahibe, Dominicus Beach or Miches and Playa Esmeralda can offer very different settings. It’s not simply about choosing “the prettiest beach,” but finding the one that makes the most sense for the photos you want to create.

Your photographer throughout the entire session
From the first moment to the final photo, your session is personally photographed by Magda Riccardi, Punta Cana photographer and founder of PuntaCanaFotoRD, with 16 years of experience photographing in Punta Cana.
You don’t need to arrive knowing how to pose or wondering what to do in every photo. Magda stays with you throughout the session, guiding you and adapting the experience to your personality so that little by little, you can forget about the camera.
For many people, doing a solo photoshoot means stepping a little outside their comfort zone. That’s why, rather than looking for perfect poses, we focus on creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where you can feel comfortable and enjoy the experience.

A Real Solo Photoshoot at Macao Beach
Macarena came to Macao Beach with her surfboards and one idea in mind: a photoshoot that reflected her personality and her connection with the ocean.
Throughout the session, Magda guided her with poses, movements and expressions while still leaving room for everything to feel natural. Her surfboards became part of the photos and of a relaxed, fun and very personal experience.
