When John first contacted us on WhatsApp to plan a maternity photoshoot in Punta Cana, it seemed like a fairly typical inquiry. He and Carmen were staying at Meliá Punta Cana and wanted to preserve the memories of a very special chapter in their lives as they prepared to welcome their first baby. A Clever Way to Hide the Ring During the drive and throughout the first part of the photoshoot, Carmen had absolutely no idea what was about to happen. One of the smartest parts of John's plan was the way he hid the engagement ring. Instead of carrying the traditional ring box throughout the entire session, he chose to keep only the ring hidden inside a pair of pants he planned to wear during their second outfit change. A simple idea, but a very effective one. In fact, not long after this session, we experienced a funny situation with another surprise proposal. As soon as the photoshoot started, Magda spotted the ring box sticking out of the groom-to-be's pocket. If the photographer could see it, there was a good chance the future bride might have noticed it too.
