Booking & Payments
How can I book a photoshoot in Punta Cana?
Booking your photoshoot is easy. You can contact us via WhatsApp or fill out the contact form on our website, letting us know your travel dates, the type of photoshoot you're interested in, and the hotel where you'll be staying.
We'll help you choose the beach, schedule, and experience that best suit your plans. Once availability and session details are confirmed, you can secure your booking with a US$50 deposit.
From your very first message, you'll communicate directly with our local team in Punta Cana.
How much is the booking deposit, and which payment methods do you accept?
To confirm your Punta Cana photoshoot, we require a US$50 deposit, which is deducted from the total session price.
You can pay the deposit through PayPal, Western Union, or bank transfer.
The remaining balance is preferably paid in cash on the day of your photoshoot, either in US dollars (USD) or the equivalent in Dominican pesos (DOP), based on the agreed exchange rate.
In exceptional cases, we may also accept the remaining balance through PayPal, subject to prior agreement.
Before booking, we'll confirm the total price, included services, and payment conditions so everything is clear from the beginning.
How far in advance should I book my Punta Cana photoshoot?
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially if you're traveling during peak season or celebrating a special occasion, such as a marriage proposal, birthday, or anniversary.
This gives us a better chance of securing your preferred date and time.
Already in Punta Cana or arriving in just a few days? Feel free to contact us! If we're available, we'll be happy to arrange a last-minute photoshoot.
What happens if I need to reschedule or cancel my photoshoot?
We understand that unexpected situations can arise during a vacation. If you need to change your photoshoot date or time, please let us know as early as possible. We'll do our best to find an alternative, depending on availability.
If you decide to cancel, please note that the US$50 booking deposit is non-refundable, as it reserves your date and time.
Our goal is to make your experience as stress-free as possible, so we're always happy to discuss unexpected situations and look for the best possible solution.

Preparation & Experience
Who will photograph our Punta Cana photoshoot?
Your photographer will be Magda (Magdalena Riccardi), founder of PuntaCanaFotoRD, with 16 years of experience photographing couples, families, and special moments in Punta Cana.
Magda will personally guide you throughout your session, helping you feel comfortable in front of the camera and enjoy the experience.
Pascal is also part of the team, taking care of organization, coordination, and transportation when included or arranged.
We're a friendly, local team. From your first message, you'll know exactly who's behind your photographs.
What if we don't know how to pose or feel uncomfortable in front of the camera?
Don't worry! Most of our clients aren't professional models, and many tell us they've never had a professional photoshoot before.
Magda will guide you naturally, suggesting simple poses, movements, and spontaneous moments to create beautiful photographs without making you feel uncomfortable or forced.
We want you to enjoy the beach, have fun, and be yourselves. Some of the best photographs happen when you forget about the camera.
What should we wear for a beach photoshoot?
The most important thing is to choose comfortable clothes that make you feel confident and allow you to move easily.
Light colors, neutral shades, and soft tones usually look beautiful against Punta Cana's sand and turquoise sea. For family photoshoots, we recommend coordinating colors without everyone having to wear exactly the same outfit.
It's best to avoid large logos, overly busy patterns, and clothes that feel uncomfortable in the heat or wind.
If you're unsure, feel free to send us pictures of your outfit options before the session. We'll be happy to help you choose.
How long does a photoshoot last, and can we change outfits?
The duration depends on the type of photoshoot and the package you book. Some experiences last between 30 and 45 minutes, while our standard sessions usually last one hour. We also offer longer options for special occasions.
When the session allows it, you can change outfits during your booked time. We recommend having everything ready so you can make the most of the beautiful light and your experience.
Before booking, we'll confirm the duration and everything included in your session.
Can we book a family photoshoot with babies, young children, or pets?
Absolutely! We love photographing families and understand that every child has their own rhythm.
Magda adapts each session to the children's ages and personalities, combining family portraits with spontaneous moments of play, hugs, and laughter. We don't expect little ones to stay still or smile at the camera the entire time.
We can also arrange pet-friendly photoshoots, provided the chosen location allows pets and we can ensure a comfortable, safe experience.
Our goal is for the whole family to enjoy the moment without pressure.
Beaches, Hotels & Transportation
Where can we have our photoshoot in Punta Cana?
We offer photoshoots at beautiful beaches throughout Punta Cana and the surrounding areas, including Macao Beach, Bávaro, Uvero Alto, and Cap Cana. We can also arrange photography experiences in other parts of the Dominican Republic, such as Bayahibe and Miches.
Every location has its own charm, from natural beaches and palm trees to turquoise waters and peaceful coastal scenery.
Magda and Pascal know these locations well and will help you choose the best setting based on your photoshoot, accommodation, lighting, and conditions on the day.
Can we have our photoshoot directly at our resort?
Yes, as long as your hotel allows outside photographers to work on its property.
Some Punta Cana resorts require special authorization or charge an additional fee, commonly known as a vendor fee.
These policies vary by resort and must be confirmed directly with your hotel.
If you'd prefer to avoid possible restrictions or additional charges, we can suggest a photoshoot at a public beach, such as Macao Beach, depending on your location and preferences.
Is transportation from our hotel included in the photoshoot?
Transportation depends on the package you book and your hotel's location.
For some experiences, we can arrange pickup and return transportation from your accommodation. In other cases, transportation is quoted separately, or clients travel directly to the photoshoot location.
Before confirming your booking, we'll explain the available options and any additional costs so you can plan everything with peace of mind.
What is the best beach in Punta Cana for a photoshoot?
There isn't one perfect beach for every photoshoot. The best choice depends on the style of photographs you're looking for, the time of day, and your hotel's location.
Macao Beach stands out for its natural scenery, palm trees, and authentic atmosphere. Uvero Alto offers long stretches of sand, while Bávaro features beautiful tropical settings.
We also photograph clients in other locations, including Bayahibe and Miches, for those looking for a different experience.

Can we choose a different beach or combine multiple locations?
Absolutely! We can explore different locations depending on the type of photoshoot you'd like to arrange.
If you'd like photographs at more than one beach or in different settings, we'll need to consider travel distances, transportation time, and the duration of your booked session.

Weather & Unexpected Situations
What happens if it rains on the day of our Punta Cana photoshoot?
Don't worry! Punta Cana's tropical weather can change quickly, and a forecast showing rain doesn't necessarily mean it will rain throughout the day.
Magda and Pascal will keep an eye on the weather conditions. If the weather doesn't allow us to carry out your photoshoot comfortably and safely, we'll work with you to find an alternative time or date, depending on our availability and the length of your stay.
Our goal is for you to enjoy the experience and receive beautiful photographs without taking unnecessary risks.
What is the best time of day for a beach photoshoot?
We generally recommend early morning or late afternoon, when the light is usually softer and more flattering for photographs.
The ideal time depends on the beach, the season, and the type of photoshoot. Some locations are particularly beautiful at sunrise, while others offer lovely light later in the day.
We know Punta Cana's beaches well and will help you choose the most suitable time for your experience.
What happens if there's sargassum seaweed on the beach?
Sargassum is a natural phenomenon that can affect certain beaches in Punta Cana and the Dominican Republic, particularly during some times of the year. Its presence varies depending on ocean currents, wind, and sea conditions.
Before your session, we can assess the conditions at your chosen beach and, if necessary and possible, suggest another location.
We work in different areas, including Macao Beach, Uvero Alto, Bávaro, Bayahibe, and Miches, allowing us to consider alternatives depending on the circumstances.
We cannot guarantee completely seaweed-free beaches, but we'll do our best to find a beautiful setting for your photographs.
What if it's very windy or the sea is rough?
A little wind can add movement and a natural feel to photographs, especially with flowing dresses and couples' photoshoots.
However, if strong winds or rough seas make the session difficult or create safety concerns, we'll adapt the photoshoot to a more sheltered area or consider changing the time or location.
Our clients' safety and comfort always come first.
Photos & Delivery
How many photographs will we receive from our Punta Cana photoshoot?
The number of photographs depends on the service and package you book. As a reference, our standard one-hour photoshoot includes a minimum of 60 professionally edited, high-resolution photographs.
Magda carefully selects and edits the best images from your session, preserving both beautiful portraits and natural, spontaneous moments.
Before booking, we'll confirm the number of photographs included in your experience.
How long does it take to receive our photographs?
We usually deliver your professionally edited photographs within 3 to 5 days after your photoshoot.
You'll receive a link to a private online gallery where you can view and download your high-resolution photographs.
That way, you can enjoy your Punta Cana memories and share them with family and friends.
Do the photographs include professional editing and retouching?
Absolutely! All delivered photographs include professional editing of lighting, colors, contrast, and other adjustments needed to achieve a beautiful, natural result.
Magda believes in preserving the authentic beauty of each person and the surrounding landscape, avoiding artificial transformations or excessive retouching.
If you need any specific retouching, feel free to ask us so we can discuss the possibilities.
Can we share, download, or print our photographs?
Yes. Your high-resolution photographs are perfect for saving, sharing with family and friends, or creating beautiful prints.
You can download them directly from your private online gallery and keep your Punta Cana memories for years to come.
